If something isn’t working or unclear, here are some frequently asked questions that may help you!
The app is available on the Play Store and Apple Store under the name PILOT SYSTEM.
No. To use the PILOT SYSTEM, you must first register with a valid email address. This allows us to identify you and properly associate incoming data with your profile.
The app sends collected data and required content (coordinates, photos, tasks, videos, etc.) over an internet connection. While an internet connection is not needed after starting a challenge, it is highly recommended for a smoother experience and accurate location tracking.
After logging into the app, tap on the “Events” menu to see a list of available events. All events you’ve signed up for (either via purchase or code) will appear here once your participation is confirmed.
Each event begins at a designated START coordinate. To participate, you must go to this location. Once within range, a “START” button will appear on your device. Pressing it starts the challenge and begins the countdown timer. The event ends when you cross the FINISH coordinate, stopping the timer automatically.
Crossing the FINISH coordinate ends the challenge. Make sure you only go there if you're ready to complete the event. After finishing, further progress is no longer possible. The data collected up to that point will be evaluated by the organizers.
Check your app permissions and ensure all required access (location, motion, etc.) is enabled. If needed, move your device slightly to help it lock onto your position.
No. Your previously collected data will be preserved. Restart your device as soon as possible and continue the challenge. If GPS is turned off, the admin system notifies the organizers, who may disqualify your team depending on the rules.
Yes, but it’s not recommended. All event-related information is provided through the app during the challenge. Phone manufacturers may handle background processes differently, so to ensure data syncing, it’s best to keep the app active.
Each task has a defined activation radius, which can vary from 10 to 5000 meters. When a task appears, you might still need to move closer to the exact point to find the solution. Navigate carefully and solve it within the specified zone.
